I came this Bbq place for the rating and I Was a little disappointed with the food and portions, the price was ok, the service was good and the restaurant was clean but The red bridges bbq restaurant is a little tiny cheap, portions are big and I Don't need to paid extra for French fries and sweet bbq sauce or for paying with credit card like Alston bridges bbq

It was a strange experience. The service was good. The BBQ was good, BUT it was cold. Had to pay .50 for sweet BBQ sauce. Hush puppies were good, BUT had to pay extra for them. The server was pleasant.

Hush puppies are some of the best you’ll find. The slaw is outstanding. The BBQ itself is flavorful but dry without the sauce. The baked beans are a little too sweet for me but that’s just my preference. The service is top notch.

I have had pork BBQ from East to West North Carolina. In my humble opinion, Alston Bridges BBQ chopped pork BBQ is the best I have ever had in Western N.C. I had a chopped pork BBQ sandwich with red slaw & sauce and it was over the top good. The baked beans and hush puppies were awesome too.

We ate here today. We decided to eat here based on it's high rating. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is nice. Everyone in our group thought the hushpuppies were good. The ribs had no flavor, the baked beans had an odd flavor, and the "barbecue" sauces were mainly vinegar.... I like a vinegar barbecue sauce, but this had the consistency of water, and very little flavor. They garnished the plates with pickles on top of all of the food....this is neither good, nor bad.....it just seemed odd. I would not return.
